Job Description

DSC Group is looking for a lead auditor to its reserve audit services division to build MiCAR-compliant reserve auditing capacity, processes, and operations. The applicant must have have at least 3 years of auditing experience in an accounting or financial services company and be a certified public auditor, accountant, or similar as per EU Statutory Audit Directive 2006/43/EC (SAD). The applicant must have a keen interest on blockchain-based technologies and has preferably used decentralised finance or other DLT-based applications.

DSC Group is a European management consultancy and legal advisory company focusing on building and supporting the sustainable growth and adoption of distributed ledger based technologies. We are firm believers that the improved regulatory clarity in the EU through MiCAR will enable sprawling blockchain-based ecosystem of financial services and assets. To make that happen, independent tech-enabled auditors, such as DSC Group, need to step up and provide cost-effective, accurate, timely, and transparent attestations and audits to the reserves of assets backing electronic money tokens and asset-referenced tokens.

You will be in a pivotal role in building DSC Group’s attestation and auditing capabilities, processes, and operations from the ground up. We believe the sector is bound for massive growth in the coming years and we hope you are willing to transition to a full-time team member upon showing success in your role. Optimally, you will also continue to scale the audit & attestation services further, leading your own team within 12-24 months. Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and laying the foundations for DSC Group’s reserve auditing processes and operations

• Closely collaborating with clients to ensure an exceptional client experience

• Taking full ownership of the accuracy, diligence, and transparency of client audit reports

• Staying up to date with market developments and steering DSC Group’s approach where necessary

Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience auditing financial statements, accounts, or similar in an accounting or financial services company

• Certified public auditor, or similar as per EU Statutory Audit Directive 2006/43/EC (SAD)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Keen interest on blockchain-based technologies

• Analytical mindset and high attention to details
